Today’s guest has expert information on the benefits of switching to a whole food plant-based diet.
Dr. Alan Desmond is a Consultant Gastroenterologist certified in Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine. For years, Dr. Desmond has helped patients with a variety of digestive problems, including coeliac disease, diverticular disease, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis.

Additionally, Dr. Desmond is an Advisory Board Member of Plant-based Health Professionals UK, a charity that educated doctors, Health Professionals and members of the public on the health benefits of a plant-based diet. In today’s interview, Dr. Desmond talks about how the body is affected by diet and why medical science suggests that a whole food plant-based diet is the best choice for the body.
